Ron’s Passive Golf Method is about rotating the core of your body and following the eye line through the swing. This is the same swing method Tiger Woods has been talking about converting to due to the stress of his heavy tourqing. This is also the same swing that Ana Sorenstam has been using for the last few years. Yes, rotating the head with the turn of the right shoulder along …

Howdy Highcut,
Unfortunatly I wish I had been able to get more in depth with all of my video clips (soon to come)but thank you for commenting on the clip and I read each and every post on all of the clips and I do take note so that when I update the video’s I will address all of the suggestions that everyone has left.
Thanks!

Ron I stumbled on your vids and downloaded lessons from your website.
You are a genius.
All I had was one session at the range and I was able to do this.
Played Sunday and shot 2 under.
That shortish backswing you teach is quite unlike your own swing when you demonstrate with various clubs going on to driver.
The driver swing is a little hit and miss - its hard to unwind without shifting left..

this tip and his others slows you down and allows a proper shoulder turn which will eliminate almost all swing flaws. these are the best tips I have ever received!!! Thanks Ron.

Guy……….you’ve definately got one of the nicest swings I’ve ever seen. Very natural looking. I just started taking golf seriously. I’m sick of losing to my brother. I’ve seen and read alot of golf lessons. Most seem very complex or unatural. I just happened to come across some of your lessons while perusing youtube. Do you have any full dvds for sale or such, covering all aspects of the game.

Thanks for your comment. As far as the swing radius when it comes to any club we hit on the ground, there is no need to have width and extension on the takeaway if we are trying to descend on the ball. You need to create an angle of ascent in order to have one of descent. This isn’t to say that you want to over bend your left arm, you just want to be passive enough to not have it locked. The modern swing is not about width and clubhead speed (except for the driver) it’s about compression.

i dont understand why you advocate a bent left arm in the takeaway which will produce a very small swing radius?
